Located 30 minutes from Milan Malpensa airport, 35 minutes from Como and 45 minutes from Lugano in Switzerland, this villa dates back to the sixteenth century.

The villa belonged to several noble families over the centuries, most notably the Counts Castiglioni di Venegono, the Cattaneo of Binago and the Cagnola.

The property was purchased by the Counts Caproni of Tailedo in the early 1900s, who began restoring the villas on the property.

There have been several additions, and much of the original property remains, including the main courtyard with a depiction of a wild rose created out of river pebbles and an ancient well.
